I had a great time at this years Hippie Fest in Clearwater (Aug 25). Above is my finished piece squared up, it was 4x4. We were requested to do an album cover from the 60s or 70s and I choose Disraeli Gears by Cream for the colors and complexity.
It was challenging trying to fit all of the details into such a small space, it took about 8 hours. Unfortunatly because of the drive I wasn't able to stay for the after concert, but thats probably a good thing since I almost passed out....

Hello!
Welcome to my new blog! I hope to be posting all of me new adventures, plans, events, ideas, and chalk work here in the future. Currently, this blog is a bit of a work in progress (so please excuse any empty parts you run across).
I thought about back dating a few posts showing my work so far this year, but where is the fun in that? So if you want to see what I have been up to, just check out the "Past Work" tab at the top.... And if you are really desperate for more, you can always stop by my regular site to see all of my non-chalk art, www.cscottdraw.com
As a member of the Florida Chalk Artist Association, my goal is not to only better myself, but to also spread the love of Street Painting throughout Florida. The great thing about street painting is that other artists are so friendly and its as much a "performance art" as anything else, engaging the viewer and bringing them on an adventure. I welcome other artists (or fans of art) to ask questions, or to partake in a workshop that I hope to be putting on later in the year (more info to follow).
I hope to see you all around!
